Popular comedians Yogi Babu and Satya have officially collaborated for an untitled Telugu comedy entertainer, which was launched with a grand ceremony on May 11, 2026.
The Creative Team The film is directed by Pawan Basamsetti, who previously made his directorial debut with the 2023 film Rangabali. This project also marks Pawan’s debut as a producer under his new banner, Nayavayu Chitralu, in partnership with Nagarjuna Reddy of Dream Movie Makers.
The Grand Launch The movie was launched at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Several notable directors, including Kishore Tirumala, Mahesh Babu P, Sandeep Raj, and Yadu Vamsi, attended the event to show their support. Regular filming started immediately after the launch with key scenes featuring the lead actors.
What to Expect
- The Lead Duo: While both actors are known for their supporting comic roles, this film features them in lead positions. Yogi Babu is making his debut as a lead in a Telugu-language project.
- A “Laugh Ride”: The director, who received praise for Satya’s comedy track in Rangabali, is reportedly designing unique roles to fully utilize the natural comic timing and chemistry between the two actors.
