After a 10-year break from directing, filmmaker Gadda Viji is returning with a new movie titled Secondhand Kanasugalu. The film features well-known director Yogaraj Bhat in the lead role.
A Story of Second Chances
The movie is an emotional drama about a man in his mid-40s going through a midlife crisis. It explores a stage of life where youth, early love, and marriage have passed, leaving the character in a more thoughtful and quiet phase.
Director Viji chose the title because it represents his own “second chance” at directing after a decade. He believes that dreams in middle age are different—they are more logical and mature compared to the wild dreams of youth.
The Cast and Crew
Viji, who previously directed films like Dyavre and Plus, spent years working as an assistant to Yogaraj Bhat. Now, he is directing his former mentor.
