Thudakkam, the Malayalam action-survival thriller that marks the acting debut of Mohanlal’s daughter Vismaya Mohanlal, has officially locked in its digital streaming premiere. Following its successful theatrical release on August 7, 2026, the film will be available for streaming on JioHotstar starting September 18, 2026.
To reach a wider audience, JioHotstar will release the movie in its original Malayalam language, along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
Plot and Character Overview
The story follows Meenu (played by Vismaya Mohanlal), an ambitious young woman who manages a local martial arts institute while preparing for a bank examination and living with her physically challenged father, Ravi (played by Sai Kumar). Her ordinary life takes a dramatic turn when a cold-blooded criminal begins stalking and harassing her. Using her martial arts training, Meenu decides to stand her ground and fight back.
