The action film Karuppu, starring Suriya and directed by RJ Balaji, is ready for its cinema release on May 14. The movie has finished its review by the censor board and received a U/A certificate (meaning it is suitable for most viewers, but children under 12 should have parental guidance).
The Story
While the full story is still a secret, the movie trailers suggest that Suriya plays a lawyer named Saravanan. When he cannot get justice through the law, he is possessed by the god Karuppasaami to deliver “divine justice.”
