Sambarala Yeti Gattu was originally scheduled to hit theaters in 2025. However, because production is still ongoing, the filmmakers are now aiming for a prestigious Sankranthi 2027 theatrical debut.
The team is currently considering January 12, 2027, as a potential release date. Notably, January 12 holds a special significance in Telugu box-office history—it is the exact date on which Primeshow Entertainment’s superhero hit Hanu-Man was released during Sankranthi 2024 before becoming a blockbuster.
A Double Festival Treat for Mega Family Fans
If Sambarala Yeti Gattu locks in this release window, Mega family loyalists will enjoy two major releases over the same holiday period. “Mega Prince” Varun Tej has already confirmed his movie, Bhari, for a Sankranthi 2027 release, setting the stage for back-to-back festival movies from the family.
