Popular South Indian actress Nayanthara had two big film releases last month: the romantic comedy Hi and the action drama Toxic. Unfortunately, both movies struggled to make a strong mark at the box office.
Nayanthara’s Hi Set for Digital Debut
Besides starring in Hi, Nayanthara also served as the producer for the film. Directed by Vishnu Edavan, the romantic comedy is now gearing up for its digital premiere.
The OTT streaming platform ZEE5 had earlier included Hi in its official list of releases for September. Following the standard streaming schedule after a theatrical release, the movie is expected to premiere on ZEE5 this Friday, September 25, 2026. An official announcement confirming the date is expected very soon.
A Double Feature with Toxic?
Adding to the excitement, rumors suggest that Nayanthara’s other recent release, Toxic, might also stream on ZEE5 on the exact same day.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic stars Kannada superstar Yash in the lead role. Nayanthara plays a pivotal role in the film as Ganga, the beloved sister of Yash’s character.
If these reports turn out to be true, home viewers and fans of Nayanthara will get a double dose of the actress on their streaming screens this weekend.
