The Movie Launch
The official opening ceremony (puja event) for superstar Chiranjeevi’s new movie, currently called Chiru 158, took place on Thursday, May 21, 2026. The movie is a massive action-entertainer directed by Bobby Kolli. The team previously worked together on the massive hit film Waltair Veerayya.
Special Guests at the Event
Many bigshots and family members came to support the new project:
- Pawan Kalyan (Famous actor and politician) attended as the chief guest. He clapped the soundboard to officially start the first scene.
- Allu Aravind turned on the camera.
- Dil Raju directed the very first shot.
- Other prominent guests included Nagababu, Varun Tej, Sai Durgha Tej, Vaisshnav Tej, Allu Bobby, and Sharwanand.
New Cast Announcement
The filmmakers officially announced that young actress Anaswara Rajan will play a highly important role in the film. Rumors say she might play Chiranjeevi’s daughter in this story.
