The upcoming Telugu movie SAV3 was officially launched with a traditional pooja (blessing) ceremony. Well-known film producer Ashok Kumar attended the event as the chief guest.

- “Sa” stands for Savitri (the heroine’s character name, played by Likhita).
- “V” stands for Vijay Kumar (the character played by Demon Pawan).

Why Was the Launch Ceremony Unique?
Usually, Indian movies hold a pooja launch ceremony before they start filming. However, the team of SAV3 did the exact opposite. They held the ceremony because the movie’s shooting, dubbing, and editing are already almost finished.
The director explained that because they were newcomers, they were not sure if they would have enough money for extra celebratory expenses. They prioritized saving money to complete the movie first. Now that the film is safely nearing completion, they celebrated happily.

- Chief Guest Ashok Kumar: He praised director Krishna Maya as a very passionate, multi-talented filmmaker whom he has known since the movie Preminchukundam Raa (Krishna Maya even acted in the film Eeswar). He noted that even though the film industry is going through a tough time, audiences always support good movies. Because young people go to the theatres the most, he was glad Krishna Maya made a youthful entertainer.
- Director & Actor Krishna Maya: He praised his lead actors, saying that newcomers Likhita and Demon Pawan did a wonderful job and exceeded all his expectations. He also mentioned that the music by Sai Karthik will be a major highlight of the film.
- Hero Samrat: He shared that he made his acting debut at age 19 in the movie Something Something. He stated that he has not found a character this good, or a director like Krishna Maya, since then. He promised that audiences will see a completely new version of him in this film.
- Hero Demon Pawan: He explained that he was waiting for the right script when this project came along. He mentioned that instead of strictly reading from script papers, the actors naturally improved and changed their dialogues on set to make things sound real.
- Heroine Likhita: She expressed that she was looking for a great script when this movie came her way. She praised her co-stars, Samrat and Pawan, and thanked producer Vijaya for making the film with high production values.
