Fans have been talking a lot about the highly awaited movie Toxic, starring superstar Yash. Even though the movie finished filming last year, its release has been delayed by several unexpected issues. Now, the creators finally have a fresh plan to bring the movie to theaters.
The makers are targeting a grand release on August 26th to make the most of a long holiday weekend. The movie is set to hit theaters on a Wednesday, right in time for the festivals of Onam and Milad-un-Nabi, followed by Raksha Bandhan on Friday. The producers are expected to officially announce this release date today.
Big Stars and a Global Vision
Toxic is described as a high-voltage action entertainer. It is directed by Geethu Mohandas and produced jointly by KVN Productions alongside Yash’s own banner, Monster Mind Creations.
Yash has dedicated over two years of hard work to this massive project, which is being made on a record-breaking budget. Beside Yash, the film features an impressive star-studded cast, including:
- Kiara Advani
- Nayanthara
- Huma Qureshi
- Tara Sutaria
- Rukmini Vasanth
To match its massive scale, the filmmakers do not want to limit the movie to India. They are planning to release an English version of Toxic to audiences all across the globe.
