Actor Sumanth’s upcoming mythological thriller, Mahendragiri Varahi, has officially locked its theatrical release date. The makers announced at a press meet on Monday that the movie will hit silver screens nationwide on September 11, 2026.

- Director & Reunion: The film is written and directed by Santhossh Jagarlapudi, reuniting him with Sumanth after their previous successful collaboration on the mystery-thriller Subrahmanyapuram.
- Unique Promotion: Ahead of the release date reveal, the production team launched a distinctive promotional campaign during Varahi Gupta Navratri, installing sacred Goddess Varahi idols in nearly 100 cinema halls across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
- Music & Post-Production: The musical score is composed by popular music director Anup Rubens. The movie is currently in the final stages of post-production.
- Producers & Banners: The project is produced by Madhu Kalipu and Laxman under the joint production banners of Rajashyamala Entertainments and Bridge Films.
