From Rayalaseema to Seoul: Varun Tej Gets Possessed in the New Teaser of ‘Korean Kanakaraju’

When a Telugu Boy Meets a Korean Ghost: Varun Tej’s Next Film Promises Wild Laughs

The makers of the upcoming movie Korean Kanakaraju have just released its first teaser, and it looks like a highly entertaining ride. Combining horror and comedy, this unique film brings together two completely different worlds in a way Indian cinema hasn’t seen before.

What is the Movie About?

The story follows Kanakaraju (played by Varun Tej), a carefree, happy-go-lucky young man from Penukonda, a town in the Rayalaseema region. Kanakaraju spends his days drinking and getting into silly, petty fights.

His life takes a wild turn when a girl who speaks Korean enters his world. Soon after, Kanakaraju is possessed by a Korean spirit! He begins acting very strangely, speaking and behaving in ways no one around him can understand. By the end of the teaser, the plot thickens as Varun Tej is shown living as a gangster right in the heart of South Korea.
