Director Anil Ravipudi, who has been delivering a continuous string of blockbuster movies (including his recent massive hit Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu), is working on a highly anticipated new movie. Tentatively titled #VenkyAnil5 or #NkrAR2, this film is being planned as a grand entertainer for the Sankranthi festival in 2027.
The movie features a rare and exciting team-up of two major actors from famous film families: “Victory” Venkatesh (from the Daggubati family) and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. Joining them as the female leads are actresses Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty. The film is being produced by Sahu Garapati, and shooting is currently underway during its initial production phase in Hyderabad.

To celebrate Kalyan Ram’s birthday, the filmmakers released a vibrant and festive first-look poster. Kalyan Ram also used this special occasion to launch his official Instagram account (@nandamurikalyanram) and shared the poster himself. In his very first post, he shared his excitement about working in director Anil Ravipudi’s fun style, promising audiences a total blast for Sankranthi 2027.
In the newly released poster, Kalyan Ram brings a cheerful, festive energy. He is seen dancing with a bright smile against a colorful, celebratory backdrop. He is dressed in traditional Indian attire—a pancha and a kurta—while wearing sunglasses and a flower garland.
What to Expect From the Movie
The film is expected to perfectly balance comedy, family emotions, and drama. Reports state that director Anil Ravipudi has designed the story to give equal importance and screen time to both lead heroes, Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram. Regular shooting has kicked off starting with Kalyan Ram’s portions, and Venkatesh is scheduled to join the sets shortly after.
