The movie Mandaadi has emerged as the top choice for Telugu cinema audiences this weekend. While this week was initially expected to feature an exciting box office clash with new releases like Hanuman Ansh (Telugu) and 418 The Movie, both films were unfortunately postponed at the last minute.
Because of these sudden delays, moviegoers have been left with only one major option in theaters: Mandaadi.
A Strong Box Office Run
Mandaadi opened to a strong first weekend and subsequently received a major boost from the Ganesh Chaturthi festival holiday on Monday. The film managed to maintain steady collections throughout the weekdays and is now poised to enjoy another successful weekend at the Telugu box office.
The movie also benefited from a lack of competition from other recent hits. For instance, the film Irumudi could have posed a challenge for the top spot, but its early release on OTT platforms shifted audiences back toward theaters to see Mandaadi.
