Fans of emotional romantic dramas have a new movie to look forward to. The makers of the upcoming film Chennai Love Story have officially released its trailer, giving audiences a glimpse into an intense and emotional tale. Even before the movie hits the theaters, the creators are so confident in the film that they have already labeled it a “Cult Classic.”
What Is the Story About?
The movie follows the life of Stephen, played by Kiran Abbavaram. Stephen is an aspiring filmmaker who wants to make it big in the cinema industry. While most young Telugu directors dream of working in Tollywood, Stephen decides to move to Chennai. He firmly believes that the Tamil film industry (Kollywood) is the perfect place for the tragic stories he wants to tell.
While in Chennai, Stephen meets a broad-minded software employee, played by Sri Gouri Priya, who struggles with a drinking habit. As Stephen tries to help her change her life, the two slowly fall in love. However, their happiness is cut short. Unexpected events completely shatter their lives, and conflicts arise because Stephen struggles to accept her broad-minded nature.
The Creative Team Behind the Film
The movie is directed by Ravi Namburii, who has woven a layer of tragedy into this intense romance. The trailer shows great chemistry between the lead actors, Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya, all backed by a neat and impactful background score composed by the legendary Mani Sharma.
