Netflix has officially announced the release date for its highly anticipated original film, Maa Behen. The news was shared on Friday, May 15, 2026, to coincide with Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit’s 59th birthday.

The Story: A Kitchen Full of Chaos
Described as a “full-blown kaand” (scandal), the film follows a dysfunctional mother-daughter trio living in a conservative neighborhood. The plot kicks off when the mother, Rekha, discovers a dead body in her kitchen. The perpetually arguing family must set aside their differences and team up to hide the crime from nosy neighbors and stay one step ahead of suspicion.
